We have a new exciting opportunity within the Global Real Estate & Construction (GREAC) Division for an Account Handler to join our Real Estate team in Finchley.


The GREAC team deliver innovative insurance placements and risk management services for organisations involved in the real estate and construction sectors.

This dedicated division, comprising of more than 190 Associates, is the largest and most established combined Real Estate and Construction team in the London Market.


In this role you will provide client advocacy serving as a key contact within the account team, supporting retention and development of the business.


  • Diligently check policy documentation in accordance with regulations and in line with Lockton
procedures

  • Effectively respond and manage with queries (and to the satisfaction of the client and the market),
including but not limited to changes in cover and risk

  • Supervise and monitor the performance of direct reports and provide support as appropriate.
  • Identify risk exposures and advise on insurance and risk management solutions in consultation with the Account Executive/Producer.
  • Placement of insurances for clients in accordance with Lockton's strategy.
  • Effective and timely management of all renewals to ensure completion by the due date.
  • Preparation of market and client documentation.
  • Previous experience working with UK Real Estate / Commercial Property Owners accounts
  • Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and associates
  • Ability to identify opportunities for business development
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
