Would you like to work for one of the UK's largest and busiest teaching Trusts with a turnover of £1 billion? This NHS trust based in South East London are looking for Consultants in Geriatrics.


The Department of Clinical Gerontology is in the process of reviewing the emergency pathway for older people and the post will be ideal for someone looking to be part of exciting changes driving improved care and weekly running of Frailty Assessment Unit.

You would be joining a team of 5 dedicated Geriatric Consultants and have the opportunity to develop subspecialty services including Orthogeriatrics, acute frailty and community geriatrics.


The job plan consists of 7.5 Programmed Activities of Direct Clinical Care and 1 PA for GIM on call commitment.

The acute medical On-Call commitment is approximately 1 in 18.

Essential Criteria

MBBS/or equivalent

MRCP or equivalent.

Full Registration with GMC and Name on Specialist Register for GIM

NHS experience would be desirable

Experience in and knowledge of Geriatric Medicine

Specialist Register for Geriatric Medicine.
