Melius is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering business that due to growth, is looking to recruit a Project Administrator to support their sales team

It has a large regular order book, but also undertakes regular bespoke architectural projects for clients. In the past, they have also done one-off projects including the Cenotaph War Memorial in London


You will be the heart of our client's project delivery capabilities, turning customer orders into job cards and production packs and providing service support to customers throughout the project lifecycle.


Core activities for this role include:

  • Inputting requirements into our client's manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems.
  • Providing telephonebased customer service
  • Administrative support to operational engineering teams
  • Managing management registers and reporting on these
  • Creating sales quotes for work to support the senior sales team
You will need to understand technical drawings and ideally have worked within a manufacturing or engineering business.

You will be supported to be successful by a comprehensive training programme to acquire the process and systems knowledge that will enable you to undertake this role effectively and there should be plenty of scope for progression, as the company grows

This role offers a starting salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per annum.
