Commercial Coordinator - Promotions could be a perfect challenge


About the role:


As Promotions Coordinator you will support the Buying function on delivering and reporting against the promotional activity within the business.

Liaising across Buying, Marketing, Merchandising and Operations you will ensure the smooth communication, execution, and reporting of our promotional activities across all territories, to ensure our store experience is a beautiful one for our guests around the world.

You will always have the end-customer in mind - and be able to produce work and communications which increases the likelihood of guests buying more product in our stores.

Based in
Avonmouth on a
hybrid working basis.

What you will be doing:


  • Work closely with Buying and Marketing to create successful promotions that aim to maximise revenue, penetration, and average basket value
  • Report against promotional performance weekly/monthly to support the development and improvement of future trade planning at both category and ship level
  • Work in line with Buying and Marketing deadlines to ensure all promotional activity is pitched, approved, and briefed to Marketing in line with production schedules and buying cycles
  • Own the correct use of the signage tracker to ensure all promo/ships are captured
  • Ensure promotions are accurately entered by the category teams in the system, and appropriately and correctly communicated to ships in a timely fashion
  • Support with global pricing strategy including working with relevant price comparison companies 24I.S to track retail pricing against identified regional competitors. Work with Commercial Development and Marketing to share the output with key cruise lines and deliver saving messages in store
  • Support the creation/completion/communication of seasonal trading plans, and Cruise Line/Vendor Quarterly Business Reviews as needed

About you:


  • High level of competence with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Structured planning, organisation, and time management skills is essential
  • Good communication and presentation skills, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively, supporting others to deliver activities on time
  • Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
