    Description

    About the role:

    Working as part of the wider Support and Delivery teams at Harding+, you will have strong technical and soft skills. You will provide a technical bridge and second line support service to end users, dealing with problems, answering service tickets, or delivering IT elements of wider projects – all with the objective of supporting the Harding+ business strategy.

    The focus area for this role is Retail and Onboard Technology. Experience supporting retail end users, POS application setup and integration, training and UAT testing is essential. You will build up, and document, a wealth of knowledge about how to support our retail colleagues on board – which can, over time, be shared with support teams to improve first line resolution. This will also mean needing to visit ships as well as sailing.

    Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis – 3 days per week.

    Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare, 25 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown)

    About you:

  • Proven experience in a support role, working in a retail technology environment including point of sale and stock take solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and customer centric focus, capable of dealing with difficult and stressful situations with a calm disposition
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose to a high standard in a complex, time critical, and constantly evolving environment
  • Independent, resourceful, and picks up new skills quickly; escalating issues where necessary, working to strict deadlines
  • Good Excel experience with strength in using multiple data sources within pivot tables
  • Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
