Butler Rose are excited to be working with a well established and growing business based in Hertford who are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team.

You may currently be a senior accounts payable clerk looking for the next step in your career, or perhaps you are already a supervisor or team leader looking for a new challenge.

You will have excellent experience within the AP function and ideally have managedor supervised another staff member.
In addition to ensuring the overall smooth running of the AP function, you will have a hands on approach, being directly involved with:

processing invoices accurately, ensuring authorisers are chased as necessary and completing the payment runs.
Dealing with and escalating any supplier issues to the relevant department

- identifying areas for process improvement and providing updates on supplier payments expected.

You will have good system skills having worked with several accounting systems as well as being a confident user of Excel.

You will also be an excellent communicator and take pride in your attention to detail.

This role would be well suited to you if you thrive in a busy environment; looking after the AP function of multiple entities within a group.
