    Description

    RM Recruit are proud to be working in partnership with a brilliant charity based in Birmingham who are on the lookout for a confident Events & Fundraising Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Our client is able to offer a competitive salary with a flexible, hybrid working pattern of three days a week in the office and the rest working from home.
    This role will see you support and work alongside the Director on a full range of in house, supported events and fundraising initiatives.
    Responsibilities include:

    • Demonstrate the skills of a seasoned fundraiser with a keen eye for identifying potential prospects.
    • Foster and expand the current roster of events and fundraising initiatives while exploring fresh opportunities.
    • Take charge of individual event profit and loss statements in collaboration with the Finance Manager, ensuring meticulous paperwork and thorough supplier research.
    • Formulate comprehensive sales plans, actively promoting events, and securing sponsorships as needed.
    • Develop essential event collateral, including guest packs, design elements, PR and marketing briefs, and briefings for guests and VIPs.
    • Cultivate relationships with various stakeholders, suppliers, beneficiaries, participants, and guests to establish effective partnerships.
    • Execute on-the-day event management responsibilities.
    • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a supporter database.
    • Conduct post-event debriefs, evaluations, and implement improvements for future events.
    The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with an articulate and results-driven nature. Strong administration and organisational abilities are essential in this role. As a very varied role, you must be able to prioritise and manage the demands of several events whilst ensuring all supporters and stakeholders receive professional, first-class customer service with the best experience. The successful applicant must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle whilst being flexible to travel throughout the UK and overseas.
