These roles are eligible for the Campus Services New Starter Bonus**We have two part time vacancies for Domestic Assistant/ Cleaners to provide a high quality service in our student accommodation. You'll have a key role in helping students transition from living at home to fully independent living and ensuring all our accommodation users have the best possible experience when staying with us.


As a Domestic Assistant/ Cleaner you will be required to clean student kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms in accordance with service level agreements and standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

The hours for these part time positions (27.5hrs) is 10am to 4pm.


The residences are mainly used by students, but during summer it is also used by external customers so there is an expectation to work weekends on a rota basis during summer.

You will work 5 days out of 7 and have days off during the week when you are required to work at weekends.


Previous experience of cleaning work is highly desirable as is experience of working in a hotel or student accommodation environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning accommodation areas
  • Reporting maintenance issues
  • Ensuring health and safety guidance is followed
  • Acting as the face of the department, engaging with students and visitors
