Once you have registered as a volunteer we will be in touch to help find a role to suit you.

We're looking for Volunteers aged 16+ from across the UK to join our virtual crew

As a Volunteer Crewmate, you'll join our online, teacher-led afterschool sessions to help children aged 9 to 13 develop their reading and writing skills.

By championing their work and celebrating everything they do, you will help them, one-to-one and in small groups on our online platform Vedamo, to become published authors
No experience working with children or young people is necessary as full training is provided.
Remote, home-based
Volunteers must complete two self-complete trainings in addition to one training over Zoom.

Evening
Minimum requirement of 12 sessions over a year's period Volunteers (aged taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
