Production Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Yearly Bonus

Rota: Monday – Friday - DAYS

My client, a large engineering company, is looking for a qualified and experienced Production Engineer to join their Production Team in Milton Keynes.

The main responsibilities of the Production Engineer will include;

Maintain existing CAD layout files, and where changes are proposed develop and present next step layout CAD drawing and final layout CAD drawing.

operations through each process flow for each allocated value stream, to achieve current and forecast output requirements. Including flexibility for different reduced output rate speeds.

Define, implement & sustain required lean at point-of-use logistics/storage requirements, media/hardware, and system for each operation/stage through each process flow for each allocated value stream, to achieve current and forecast output requirements.

Pension

The successful Production Engineer will have;

Level 5 qualification in related engineering, or equivalent experience. With at least 2 years of experience in a similar industry

Proven skills, knowledge, experience, and expertise in developing and supporting new and existing production lines and plant equipment.

Demonstrated engineering / manufacturing experience.

Excellent analytical skills combined with good negotiation and conflict management skills with proficiency in computers would be beneficial.
