Description
UK Power Networks is looking for an Electrical Fitter to join its Capital Programme - Investment Delivery team based in London - West Ham.
You will report to the Project Supervisor and will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing plant, apparatus, and cables associated with the Grid, Primary and Distribution network.
You will also oversee the work of UK Power Networks contractors and ensure compliance with the DSR and safety standards.
This position offers a salary of £39,185 plus Inner London Allowance £5,399, One Network Payment £635, Non-Canteen Allowance £293, a Van and a bonus of 3%.

City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering (Preferred) or City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Electrotechnical Craft or equivalent Completed an approved Apprenticeship in Electrical Fitting, Cable Jointing or Electrical Installation.
City and Guilds Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) MEWP operator licence SMSTS competence IOSH Working safely Oxy-propane and gas awareness experience Confined space trained Receive PTW and Manage Site Safety Move/Use Cranes/Scaffold in HV Compounds Move/Use Ladders/Long Objects in HV Compounds.
