Lanam Healthcare are sourcing experienced, motivated and dedicated individuals who wish to join our exceptionally hardworking team.

Responsibilities of an Activities Co-ordinator:

To ensure the principles of privacy and dignity are promoted though effective working as part of the team.

Assist the people living in our communities to socialise within the Home and provide a variety of leisure and lifestyle opportunities that cater for all tastes.

Plan and initiate monthly rolling / individual programme and encourage individuals to maintain pre-existing hobbies.

Encourage Staff Members, Relatives and Friends to participate in the Homes activities.

Accompany people living in our communities, where possible, to off-site leisure and lifestyle opportunities, which may occasionally take place out with normal working hours.

Assist with fund raising, and budgeting, for entertainments, materials and outings.

To encourage and facilitate people living in our communities to participate in leisure pursuits and maintain interests to assist in ensuring their social and emotional needs are met

To report and record the well-being of people living in our communities, reporting any changes to the Home Manager

Requirements:

Disclosure check

Willingness to register with the SSSC.

Clean driving license preferred

Care experience preferred

Salary:
£10.42-£11.00 per hour
