    3PL Transport Operation
    35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

    We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Advisor to join our team at our Alfreton depot.

    As a key member of the Compliance, Safety, and Training team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the implementation of HSEQ standards, maintaining legal compliance, and upholding company regulations.

    Reporting directly to the Operations Support Director, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the protection of health, safety, and welfare within our organisation.

    A Health & Safety background within a Transport Operation or VMU (Vehicle Maintenance Unit) is highly desirable
    Experience within a logistics, transport and distribution network
    NEBOSH General, Occupational Health & Safety Certificate is highly desirable
    NEBOSH Diploma is desirable.
    Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship building abilities, and effective communication.

    Overall responsibility and compliance of the Company's Health & Safety, making sure staff are aware of the importance and follow safety protocol.

    Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
    Assist with the wider business management teams the implementation of ISO 9001
    Elect and set up Health & Safety representative meetings as per statutory requirements.

    Implement practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting Health & Safety and safe working practices in the workplace.

    Produce, review, update and implement all Health & Safety Policy and Procedures
    Update and review all site Health & Safety signage
    Conduct/organise relevant Health & Safety training for staff as required, including first aid and fire safety.

    Conduct all "risk assessments" as required by legislation and are reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same.

    Advise the Senior Team of all incidents reportable under R.I.D.Conduct Health & Safety inspections and prepare reports and documents as required.

    Bring to the attention of the Senior Team any relevant new legislation.
