    Job summary

    The Clinical Systems Team have an exciting opportunity in the form of a system administrator; supporting staff and patients to use the 8 systems looked after by the team.

    Main duties of the job

    The successful candidate will be computer literate and have some experience in using Patient Centre. Experience in using other some other systems supported by the team (Enlighten, Attend Anywhere, G2, ICE and Patientrack) is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

    The successful candidate will also take an active role in improving the quality of the data recorded on all systems supported by the team, utilising reporting functionality.

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • Recognised qualification in literacy and numeracy (minimum GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent)
  • Educated to NVQ Level 4 in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or able to demonstrate knowledge within this field through practical experience
  • Evidence of ongoing leaning and development
  • Desirable

  • Educated to degree level standard
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Evidenced experience of working with patient or Customer Relationship Management IT based systems
  • Evidenced experience in providing customer service
  • Desirable

  • Experience of working with iSoft Clinicom/Patient Centre
  • Experience of NHS or private hospital systems
  • Knowledge

    Essential

  • Understanding of customer/user issues and how they impact on use of IT systems and impact on customer/users ability to continue daily tasks
  • Data quality standards applicable to the data and processes being supported
  • Desirable

  • Understanding of Information Governance issues when using patient based systems.

  • Advanced keyboard skills and ability to use personal computer software including Microsoft applications, most notably Excel and Access
