    Test Technician (Detector Products)

    £30,000 - £34, Days Holiday plus Bank + Ongoing Training + 12:30pm Finish Friday + Leadership Programme

    Are you a test technician, looking, , looking to join an innovative and industry leading company, pushing the forefront of its technology and offering unlimited technical progression, among the best in the business?

    Do you want to work for a well-established, global company, who offer a 360 service, from design to manufacture and marketing, where you will have a high degree of responsibility and autonomy within your role, as an integral part of the Engineering team?

    The company are a successful and longstanding manufacturer, covering the nuclear, defence and aerospace markets, specialising in detector equipment. With continued expansion and growth arises an opportunity for a new Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team.

    This role would suit a test technician with a background in engineering, looking to significantly progress their career with continued training and career support, alongside generous company benefits.

    The role:

    • Verify performance at prototype and fully realised stage
    • Review historical data to drive process improvement
    • Hands on measurements to investigate product data and limitations
    • Participate in client visits

    The person:

    • Qualification in engineering discipline, ideally with a high electronic content or experience in a similar role
    • Ideally any knowledge of radiation or detectors
