    We have a great opportunity available to join a rapidly growing manufacturing company in East Kilbride as an Account Executive. Due to continued growth our client is looking to add to the team.

    What the role will involve?

    As a Key Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a number of key accounts across the UK. Occasional travel will be required (on average around every 6 months), however all expenses will be paid to cover mileage, car hire and hotels.

    This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an Account Management role, it's 90% account management with around 10% of up selling (no new business development required).

    • Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director to oversee the management and care of assigned accounts throughout the UK.
    • Build, maintain and manage relationships with key accounts.
    • Creating and delivering open order reports and delivery schedules through customer meetings, whether conducted virtually or face-to-face
    • Comprehending their requirements and anticipations, and subsequently meeting them effectively.
    • Crafting and delivering open order reports and delivery schedules through customer meetings, whether conducted virtually or in person.
    • Working with the Commercial Director to create, raise and submit quotations to the accounts.
    • Providing insights and valuable information to sales discussions and strategies.
    • Handling the loading and processing of customers' orders along with managing supporting documentation.

    What do you need?

    • Ability to work onsite in East Kilbride each day.
    • Happy for some UK travel to visit customers.
    • Prior experience within an account management role or developing relationships with B2B customers is essential.
    • Recognising the importance of fostering both internal and external relationships.
    • Full UK driving licence.
    • Ability to manage multiple accounts.
    • Ability to understand client needs and requirements and to support on them.
    • Passionate about the customer journey and experience and delivering high level service.
