Norman Broadbent PLC, a leader in executive search with an established industrials practice, is delighted to be partnering with Cornish Lithium in the appointment of a General Manager for their Hardrock site in Trelavour.

Cornish Lithium are a highly innovative private British mineral exploration company focussed on the sustainable extraction of lithium and other battery metals in the historically significant mining district of Cornwall.

Their Trelavour hard rock project comprises Trelavour Pit and the TreLith Processing Facility, which will also incorporate a Demonstration Plant that is currently under construction.

Detailed engineering of a demonstration plant is underway and construction at the TreLith site will commence shortly.

This will validate the process flow sheet and will advance progress the Company's plans to be in production in 2027.ResponsibilitiesLead Trelavour Project Management from Feasibility to Operation, including developing execution plans and maintaining project schedules.

Collaborate with Exco to align project objectives with company strategy and goals.
Coordinate all project workstreams and monitor/control budgets for cost efficiency.
Communicate project progress and quality/technical delivery to stakeholders.
Identify and evaluate potential projects and customers for business growth.
Ensure HSE compliance and risk assessment throughout project lifecycle.
Work closely with Health and Safety manager to oversee project safety and site management.
Design and oversee HSE requirements, including process risk assessments, prior to plant commissioning.

QualificationsMinimum 15 years' relevant experience and proven track record in project development, management, execution and operation within mining and quarrying .
