The Finance Business Partner will act as the expert in relation to the financial considerations connected to IT solutions, that have both revenue and capital implications across the medium term.

Ability to input into organisational strategy, financial planning, resolving business problems and make recommendations.


Ability to engage a business cases process and provide detailed advice and guidance on all aspects of the submission, identifying inter-dependencies with change programmes, associated risks, governance routes and identify benefits of the proposal.


Experience of working in both a busy and focused financial environment and have an excellent knowledge of financial accounting systems.


Evidence of a proactive and innovative approach to work by exploring and presenting options to a wide range of senior stakeholders at project boards.


Excellent negotiating and influencing skills to deliver an optimum finance provision to the various projects that the Force engage in.


This opportunity would suit a highly motivated and dynamic individual who can utilise their wide experience of working within senior finance roles in order to contribute to the strategic objectives of the Force.

This role attracts a non-contractual market related supplement which is reviewed annually.


Essex Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £56,931.00.
