Our Client based in Rushden is looking for a Planning & Logistics Controller to join their existing team.
The purpose of the Planning & Logistics Controller is to ensure the smooth management of the company's operations.

The position requires liaison with their clients customers, outside contractors (transport/sub-contractors), their service team, and their sales team, to organise and ensure all movements take place as planned, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities of the Planning & Logistics Controller are:

~ Organisation of all Movements including but not limited to scheduling of service team, third party transport and suppliers

~ Upkeep of Training Records

~ Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office is a requirement, as are good written and verbal communication skills and organisation skills.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years relevant experience of a Hire Desk or Transport Logistics (or similar) and resource scheduling, while experience within the plant hire industry would be an advantage.
