The role


As the Global Project Management Office (PMO) Leader, you'll be responsible for leading and managing the organisation's Project Management Office on a global scale.

This role involves developing and implementing project management standards, processes, and best practices, ensuring effective communication, and providing strategic guidance to project teams to ensure successful project delivery across different regions and business units.

Day to day:


  • Develop and maintain the Global PMO strategy in alignment with the organisation's objectives
  • Define and implement project management standards, methodologies, and best practices
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure consistent project execution and alignment with organizational goals
  • Manage the organisation's project portfolio, including prioritisation, resource allocation, and risk assessment
  • Monitor and report on the status of projects and programs to senior management
  • Assist in the selection, initiation, and prioritisation of strategic projects
  • Design, implement, and improve project management processes and methodologies
  • Provide guidance and training to project teams on project management tools, techniques, and practices
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO and across project teams
  • Coordinate with resource managers to ensure optimal allocation ofresources across projects
  • Monitor resource utilisation and availability to support project planning and execution
  • Identify and assess project risks and issues on a global scale
  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans to minimise project risks and ensure successful delivery
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely reporting
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to provide visibility into project performance and alignment with strategic objectives

Who are you...

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, with a focus on PMO leadership and global
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred

Working in alignment with Global teams and travelling as required.
