Your Role and Responsibilities
Our Tech SME's are restless for innovation and hungry for knowledge. Hence, they are at the edge of technology, changing the way our customers implement business solutions.

Your role will be transforming the concept into reality with our customer solutions.

With deep understanding across prioritised focus areas, bringing together as a technology reality, guided by and working in conjunction with the Architects and Consultants.

You will be able to provide deep insight into services and technologies that help enterprises prepare for the next wave of cloud with 5G-enabled edge and software-defined networking technologies such as SDN, SD-WAN and SASE - regardless of their size and complexity.

This will be through complex transformational requirements, using a combination of your consultant skill and experience to produce high quality designs and technical documentation.

Working on exciting projects across our range of services including traditional technologies (eg SD WAN) through to public and private Cloud based Network engagements.

Who you are:

Are you an engineer experienced in working with customers at all levels, working with consultants and architects to shape solutions by workshopping, whiteboarding and understanding the Customer's business and requirements? Do you have a desire to manage, challenge and succeed by taking responsibility for large project designs and become the technical authority.

Working closely with the Customer, our Kyndryl Technical Teams and our partners, you will use your balanced mix of skills covering technologies, industry knowledge, technical know-how and innovative approach to design and implement complex solutions.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Projects engineer with technical implementation experience of large customer transformation projects.
  • Strong infrastructure knowledge and experience, working in a range of technologies and disciplines, including compute, storage, network, virtualisation, and automation.
  • Hyperscaler knowledge and experience (Microsoft Azure Cloud / AWS / Google).
  • Good interpersonal skills. As a systems integrator we need to be able to communicate at all phases of the project to simplify the messaging.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Extensive vendor experience with Cisco (eg CCIE), VMware, Juniper (JNCIA), F5, Brocade, Arista, Dell, Nokia etc.
  • Applied knowledge of security controls, storage solutions and network standards.
  • Applied knowledge of Wireless technologies.
  • Applied knowledge of Network standards and designs.
  • Applied knowledge of WAN technologies and SASE.
  • Experience of network architecture configuration and optimisation.
  • Knowledge of network virtualisation and cloud technologies.
  • Background in producing technical documentation for operational runbooks updating and creating Network Diagrams, IP Addressing schemes, testing procedures, cabinet layouts, datacentre and local cabling requirements etc.
  • Troubleshooting and analytics.
  • Wi-Fi heat mapping tools also desirable.
