Date Published: - 19Apr2024 A national RBCA are seeking a Class 2 'B' 'D' RBI in both their North and South London regions. Basic salary circa £55,000 £60,000 plus company car or allowance, enhanced pension and leave entitlement, with the opportunity for career progression within a growing company. Building Inspector responsibilities:
- Check plans for compliance with the Building Regulations and associated legislation
- Issue initial notices, plan certificates, amendment notices and final certificates
- Undertake inspection of works and produce reports
- At completion of works ensure all relevant inspections have been performed with appropriate certification submitted, and defects/nonconformities addressed before final certification has been issued
- Support the training and development of assistant surveyors
- Client meetings contribution
- Undertake peer review audits on an adhoc basis
- Maintain Building Inspector CPD / uptodate Building Regulations knowledge as required
- Building Inspector requirements:
- Class 2 'B' registered Building Inspector or above
- Interpersonal skills
- Overview:
- 37.5 hrs Monday
- Friday
- Company car / £350 allowance
