Freelance Groom For Professional Competition Stud Berkshire - Beech Hill, United Kingdom - Yard and Groom
Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our successful competition yard. Part time and full time hours available. The position includes all general yard duties, tacking up, washing off and all aspects of care for the horses. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly successful team where you will be working and training alongside an International Grand Prix Dressage Rider and International Show Jumper. The right person will need to be a competent, experienced person and to have an exceptionally high standard of care.
You will need to be energetic, enthusiastic and have a desire to achieve, you will also need to be willing to learn about handling and working with all types of horses, at all stages of training.
You will need to be a reliable and confident person to join our dedicated team and have the ability to work under own initiative, when required. Being able to communicate to a high standard is essential, as is being prepared to undertake all yard duties.
Training will be given and own horse/student/training an option. Riding is not required if you are not a confident rider but there may be some riding opportunities for the right candidate but please know we are primarily looking for a dedicated groom. There is currently no accommodation for this post but could be discussed.
