Finance Business Partner | Nottinghamshire| £47,000 - £53,000

Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a large organisation (c900m t/o) within Nottinghamshire who are seeking to appoint two Finance Business Partners to bolster their Finance team.

It is a great time to join with exciting plans for the coming years and you will be playing an instrumental part in both leading and helping delivering projects, which will significantly impact the wider organisation.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Finance you will be a key business partner within the team, leading on a specific department area as well as managing and coaching a small team (1 direct report, oversight of 3-4 heads).

You will be collaborating with the wider business unit on improvements to processes and wider change as well as financial planning and monitoring.

You will be a proactive individual who will be informing and influencing policy formulation, contributing to decisions on financial elements of major business development issues and advising non finance stakeholders across the organisation.

Finance Business Partner Responsibilities:

Providing a bespoke service to a specific department within the organisation supporting financial and business activities
Preparing relevant financial and organisational information to facilitate change
Actively developing strong relationships with stakeholders in order to move forward key projects

Requirements:

Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
Experience within a medium to large sized organisation
Experience managing and coaching a small team
Experience leading the preparation of management accounts, budgets and forecasts
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable business partnering experience and providing guidance to senior stakeholders
Be a proactive individual who can work autonomously and is able to challenge both finance and nonfinance stakeholders in a collaborative way
