    Description

    Head of Software Engineering and Product Management

    Synchro have partnered with a hugely well-known and recognisable consumer brand with a global presence. They are recruiting for a Head of Software and Product Management to play a key role in guiding their software engineering and product teams as they grow and continue to deliver innovative and reliable products and services to the market.

    Working closely with other senior Leaders within Technology & Engineering, you will have strong Agile / Product knowledge and have previously created and delivered a product strategy. You will have previously led and scaled software development / engineering teams, ideally within firmware or embedded engineering.

    You will have excellent man-management skills as well as expert stakeholder and vendor management skills. As well as having solid commercial skills, you will take pride in working closely with and motivating, coaching and leading product and software engineering teams.

    This role requires someone who will drive iterative, continual improvement across the team.

    This role is based in High Wycombe, however hybrid remote working is on offer, with the expectation to be in the office 2-3 times per week.

    What we are looking for:

    • An experienced and senior leader with experience of heading up product and software engineering teams
    • Strong knowledge of the Agile development methodology, with solid product management experience including creating and delivering a product strategy
    • Thorough experience and understanding of Agile delivery
    • Expert commercial skills including stakeholder and vendor management experience.

    Role Summary

    Role : Head of Software and Product Management

    Location: High Wycombe – hybrid remote working as detailed above

    Salary: £120,000 - £130,000, plus 40% bonus, car allowance, excellent pension + others
