    Description

    We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Stocktaker to join our client's dynamic team. As a Stocktaker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory management across all properties. This role offers a unique blend of on-site and remote work, providing flexibility and autonomy while contributing to the efficient operation of this hospitality business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting regular stocktakes of both wet and dry inventory within their hospitality establishments.
    • Utilizing industry-standard stocktaking procedures and software to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
    • Collaborating with operational teams to identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and implement corrective measures.
    • Generating comprehensive reports to analyze stock levels, trends, and usage patterns.
    • Recommending improvements to stock control processes to optimize efficiency and minimize wastage.
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies regarding inventory management and Scottish licencing law.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in wet and dry stocktaking within the hospitality industry.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and analysis.
    • Proficiency in stocktaking software and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
    • Flexibility to travel to various hotel locations across Scotland (Mon-Thurs) and work remotely on Fridays.
    • Valid driver's license with willingness to travel, with car allowance included in the salary package.
