- Create and implement a firm-wide ESG data management strategy, including the development of systems, tools and procedures to ensure the collection of accurate and complete ESG data.
- Lead the firm's ESG data acquisition strategy to ensure JLL complies with voluntary and mandatory ESG data requirements including the CSRD, proposed SEC Climate Disclosures and national legislation that the firm is subject to in its global markets.
- Identify gaps in the breadth and quality of JLL's ESG data, develop and oversee the delivery of a data quality roadmap to close the gaps.
- Work with internal functions and subsidiaries to identify and implement efforts to harmonize ESG data quality, governance, collection and management procedures across the firm's global operations.
- Continuously improve ESG data controls, working with internal stakeholders including Internal Audit, Finance and the ESG Data Controller to ensure data is auditable and prepared in accordance with the firm's internal control framework.
- 8+ years of experience managing ESG data, ideally for a Fortune 500 or similar company with a global footprint.
- Knowledge of data modelling and architecture systems and tools within the context of ESG data.
- Experience designing ESG data collection systems and approaches to source ESG data, including knowledge of the GHG Protocol and Scope 3 estimation methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with external auditors and preparing ESG data for both limited and reasonable assurance.
- Planning and managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects, including the ability to steer and coordinate internal stakeholders.
- Building strong, professional relationships with local, regional and global team
- Strong analytical skills and solution development.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to drive consistency in a team or on a project.
