Hygiene Manager

Alexander Steele have partnered with a well-established food manufacturing business in Oxfordshire. Our client is looking for an experienced hygiene manager to join the business. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring all health & safety requirements are always adhered to. The role holder will co-ordinate and manage a hygiene team across the whole site in a cost-effective way.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily hygiene functions and develop a strong team work ethic.
• To ensure training cards and risks assessments are prepared for the various hygienic maintenance tasks in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that a safe working environment exists for all employees and that as a minimum the factory meets the standards set out in the SHE policy.
• To ensure all relevant COSSH data is received and incorporated into schedules as appropriate.
• Maintaining factory GMP daily whilst keeping the factory clean and tidy and audit ready.

Background Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in hygiene management roles
• COSHH certification essential
• Excellent health and safety awareness
• Experience of managing and motivating teams
• HACCP/Food Safety/IOSH

What's on Offer:

• Paying up to £55,000
• 25 days holiday + banks
• Onsite Monday – Friday (9am – 6pm)
• 4% pension
