- Develop and Implement the maintenance strategy
- Drive culture and standards to improve safe availability of equipment through a principle of Safety First whilst maintaining HSEQ and engineering standards to deliver improved asset integrity and increased equipment reliability
- Create a high performance culture with the site engineering teams where team members are motivated and engaged, with key deliverables and development goals to grow their capability and competency
- Develop a highly engaged regional workforce through effective leadership of teams and individuals
- Manage improvements to the maintenance programmes on operational facilities
- Support the regional supervisory team with key technical knowledge during planned maintenance activities, planned plant inspections and breakdowns
- Support the Process Engineering Manager and regional teams with delivery of the groups Capital expenditure Programme
- Responsible for maintenance and engineering performance – monitored through applicable KPIs as to asset integrity / reliability and budget delivery
- Engineering Management experience in the FMCG industry
- HNC/HND/Degree educated in an Engineering discipline
- NEBOSH certified
- Experience working in a safety driven environment
- Experience with HSE Legislation
- Experience in deploying CMMS
- Experience with COMAH
- Pragmatic and resilient approach to leadership
- Lean Manufacturing and CI tool experience
