    Are you an experienced Credit Manager, who can manage the end to end AR function, support the business operationally on projects effecting the AR function? And who is available from 1st May or sooner?

    This is a 14 month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity, the successful candidate will receive a 5-7 week handover.

    This role is Hybrid 2-3 days in the office per week. With the occasional travel to London, North America and Europe.

    SF are working exclusively with a market leading organisation who have services across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia.

    In this role you will report directly into the Group CFO, and be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the AR Manager, Group Processes, projects and escalations in relation to internal support on documentation and queries alongside legal relationships.

    Your new role

    Managing the AR Manager in role and supporting the AR manager where necessary, in relation to performance management, training and recruitment.

    Supporting on projects in relation to acquisitions and the commercial and legal work associated with collections/payments
    Escalation manager for any complex AR queries that have been problematic for the team to resolve.

    Management of internal auditing on AR processes, consistent and clear approach to ensure working practises are valid and legally compliant.

    Management and lead on Legal process, acting as key escalation contact to deal with litigation and debt collection agencies, supporting relevant AR team member to manage process weekly, ensuring costs are kept to a minimum and a full process is agreed across the group
    Project lead for AR process improvements and implementations, working directly with ERP / SalesForce team and AR manager to train and put in place changes with Group AR

    Leading Sales and Marketing training on AR processes including contract documentation, payment terms and legal training regularly to ensure compliance throughout the business and collaborative working.

    Support to AR Admin and AR Manager, Divisional FD's on Contract reviews and Payment terms escalation for decisions

    Development and lead on Apprentice programme for AR - Supporting further within transactional finance/finance as necessary being management support person for new apprentices.

    Transactional support as necessary for AP / Treasury
    AR acquisitions, management of project and appointing workload

    What you'll need:

    5+ years experience managing a Credit / AR function
    Strong communication and business partnering skills
    Good level of Excel (vlookups and Pivots)
    Experience in managing teams abroad is desirable but not essential
    CICM qualification or equivalent
    Must be able to drive
