REED Reading is looking for a Full time locum OT needed for Advice and Wellbeing Hub in Adult Social Care (ASC)
The Advice and Wellbeing Hub take all the new referrals into Adult Social Care 18 years upwards. You will undertake work using the Conversation Counts model, working on prevention and early support.

The role involves working with adults with a broad range ofneeds including people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, older people and supporting people with substance/alcohol misuse.

It also involves providing information, advice and support to Carers.
The OT will need to team manage all the new referrals coming into ASC.

As the OT you will need to have experience in working with manual handling, DFGs and supporting service users with complex needs.


Will need to be available for home visits and be able to base themselves in Reading at least 2 days per week.
