An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 BASCD (British Association for the Study of Community Dentistry) Administrator to join our team.
You will provide a comprehensive administration skills, responding to a range of enquiries in a polite, caring, calm and efficient manner.
This role requires you to act as the first point of contact for schools contacting the service and to portray the service in the highest possible professional basis.
You will be passionate about customer service and enjoy working as part of a team.You will work within a large multi-disciplinary healthcare team who pride themselves on delivering the Trust objectives and the vision to improve the health and wellbeing of people across the diverse communities we serve.
This position is well suited to an individual who is enthusiastic about providing a high-quality patient experience and who has excellent communication and administration skills.
You will be responsible for providing administration to support a team of dentists and dental nurses with the BASCD National Oral Health Surveys liaising with Suffolk Councils to request schools census information
You will also sample data using specific calculations to ensure the integrity of the survey and set upmaster documents and templates that are unique to each survey as well as dealing with day-to-day queries using own initiative to resolve issues within guidelines.

Administrate for and support the BASCD dental survey team
Liaise with Suffolk Councils to request schools census information
Sample data using specific calculations to ensure the integrity of the survey
Setting up of master documents and templates that are unique to each survey
Keep contemporaneous electronic and handwritten notes of all dealings with schools
Support dentists and dental nurses with requests for stationery and equipment
Maintain a colour coded folder system for each local authority area
Following up with schools to return consent forms in a timeous manner
The post holder will need to have excellent attention to detail due to the accuracy required for receiving and transmitting confidential data
Deal with day-to-day queries using own initiative to resolve issues within guidelines
The ability to prioritise and organise own workload in an efficient and accurate manner
Good organisational skills and be methodical
