SEN Teaching Assistant Level 3

Location:
Lincoln


Duration:
Full time, long-term contract


Salary:
£75-95 per day


The School/role:


We are currently recruiting for a level3 SEN teaching assistant to work full time in a school located in Lincoln.

The school's ethos is very encouraging and passionate towards teaching and learning. Therefore, sharing this approach is very important. You will need experience working with a range of special needs including ASD, complex needs and SLD.

You will need to feel competent and confident in working on both a 1-1 basis and working with larger groups of children.

Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 would be ideal as this school has a broad range of age groups.

The position will be full time with the hope that the teaching assistant stays on in a permanent position. Any additional SEN qualifications such as, Team Teach, PECS or Makaton would be ideal within this setting.

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teaching Assistant
  • Confident working with SEN students
  • SEMH, SEBD, ADHD, ADD Experience
  • Experience in an SEN School or Pupil Referral Unit
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school based references


  • Valid Photo ID

  • Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS on the update service
