Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Scientist Expert responsible forproviding AI powered solutions to various business functions withinGlobal Manufacturing admin area. The solutions leverage the latesttechnological advancements of Artificial Intelligence (AI) andanalytics to create business values across the value chain. TheGlobal Manufacturing Excellence organization will be the center ofexcellence in Global Manufacturing under Downstream business linewithin This Company for Digital transformation ArtificialIntelligence technologies and data science.

Yourprimary role will be to work closely with business functionsstakeholders functional teams to give consultations on AI/ML usecase identify potential value from data formulate AI and datascience ideas and conceptualize them. This role will play a pivotalrole in helping our organization to make datadriven decisions andto solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsincluding engineers and domain experts to drive datadrivenimprovements.
• Gather and preprocess data fromvarious industrial sources such as sensors DCS systems andmanufacturing equipment.
• Analyze data toidentify opportunities for process optimization energy efficiencyimprovements and cost reduction.
• Implementanomaly detection algorithms to identify abnormal patterns inindustrial processes and equipment.
• Developpredictive maintenance models to identify equipment failures andminimize downtime.
• Explore innovative ideasfor applying image video and audio analytics to reduce manualefforts such as visual inspection and field monitoring ofindustrial plants.
• Create informativedashboards to communicate insights to operational teams andmanagement.
• Deploy machine learning modelsinto production systems for realtime monitoring anddecisionmaking.
• Maintain comprehensivedocumentation for data analysis processes models andfindings.
• Ensure that data practices adhere toindustry regulations and data privacy standards.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate model performancemaking necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy andreliability.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Hold a Bachelors orMasters degree in Engineering or Data Science from a premierinstitute.
• Have a minimum of 5 years ofexperience in building data analyticsbased products in anindustrial context preferably in petroleum refineries.
• Possess the ability to identify business problems thatcan be addressed through data analysis and develop datadrivensolutions including addressing engineering and operational problemsand creating computer visionbased products.
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problemsolvingskills with the ability to derive insights and opportunities fromdata.
• Understand the Oil & Gas downstreamdomain to effectively apply data science techniques.
• Have experience in developing AI/MLbased Digital twins ofindustrial processes and equipment.
• Beexperienced in applying optimization algorithms in conjunction withAI/ML models.
• Have expertise in Python fordata manipulation analysis and modeling including proficiency inpopular libraries such as NumPy Pandas Matplotlib SeabornScikitLearn etc.
• Be proficient in deeplearning tools such as Keras TensorFlow PyTorch Caffeetc.
• Have proficiency in developing evaluatingand selecting the best ML model based on the problem underconsideration with an engineering sense.
• Demonstrate the ability to bring ideas fromconceptualization to production.
• Proficiencyin visualization tools and packages as well as the ability tocommunicate data science topics to nontechnicalaudiences.
• Basic project management skills toplan execute and deliver data science projects on time and withinscope are preferred.
