    About the Role:

    As a Pack-house Manager in the FMCG food industry, you will be at the forefront of ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting customer demands while maintaining high-quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the pack-house operation, overseeing production, packing, and shipping to meet customer orders accurately and on time.
    • Monitor grade-outs to maximize recovery and minimize waste, implementing improvement strategies as needed.
    • Coordinate size allocation with the planning department, ensuring efficient resource use and meeting customer requirements.
    • Confirm daily production plans with planning, considering factors like customer demand and inventory levels.
    • Ensure teams understand productivity targets and achieve line KPIs, providing support and guidance as necessary.
    • Maintain the pack-house to BRC/Customer standards, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize pack-house efficiency and meet operational goals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and drive performance improvements.
    Qualifications and Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, food science, business management, or a related field preferred.
    • Proven experience in pack-house management or a similar role.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Knowledge of BRC and customer standards, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and production management software preferred.
