    International Tax Manager Your responsibilities:

    • Support and lead on day-to-day tax compliance requirements across a range of taxes including VAT, Partnership tax, and International tax
    • Review of indirect tax processes and developing appropriate processes and controls
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on systems strategy, including technology solutions
    • Assessing new business activities and services for direct and indirect tax implications
    • Pro-actively identify tax risks and opportunities within Berenberg
    • Collaborate closely with the German head office
    • Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
    • Assist with ad hoc advisory and project work Your profile:
    • Fully qualified Accountant – CTA, ACA, ACCA or qualified by experience
    • Strong technical ability with a good knowledge of UK tax.
    • Experience in International Tax desired
    • Ability to form good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
    • Ability to digest Tax technical guidance and communicate to non-Tax technical colleagues
    • Proficient user of Outlook and other standard Office programmes (XL/Word)
    • Strong project management skills
