Position Description:

Emotor Process Engineer required for process engineering within our electric rotor & stator assembly team. The team are responsible for the planning and delivery of EU EMotor manufacturing programs.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning & Project management, Problem solving, Cost estimation, Supplier relations, Equipment acceptance and installation, Quality control.
Manufacturing engineering or experience within a similar manufacturing environment. Specification, procurement and commissioning of manufacturing systems.

Preferred:

EMotor function and theory.
Proficient with data analytics tools (Q-DAS/Matlab/Alteryx).
Proficient with CAD software (Autodesk).
Experience in electric motor manufacture or design.
Experience with stator or rotor manufacturing or design.
Experience in Powertrain manufacture or design.
Experience in high volume automotive manufacturing systems.
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.

Education:

BEng, BSc or equivalent.

THIS POSITION IS CONFIRMED INSIDE IR35
This role will be based in Dunton for the planning phase of the project.

There may be opportunities to extend the contract as the program progresses to the installation and commissioning phase in Halewood, Liverpool when a period of extended weekday travelis to be expected.
