- transaction entry across the financial accounts and internal database
- of monthly accounts, including accruals, to review with Director
- Budget and forecasts for review with Director
- and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- balance sheet and TB for production of year end accounts
- with external accountant for the filing of annual financial accounts, and audit
- payroll by external provider
- and adapt account procedures to ensure an efficient team
- reconciliation and actioning timely outgoing payments
- to the finance queries and providing timely solutions, both to internal teams and external clients
- timely bookkeeping records overseeing payment to exclusive talent, and managing transfers to the client account
- foreign currency transactions and calculating margins based on exchange rates
- strong relationships with the rest of the finance team in order to provide an excellent service to the JLA team and JLA's client base
- communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with clients
- with Sage50 Accounts or equivalent and proficiency in use of Excel and an ability to pick up new IT system quickly
- of accessing business bank accounts and following fraud prevention processes
- to utilise and analyse data across multiple IT platforms to provide clarity and details for internal teams and external clients
- to pick up processes swiftly, as well as implement improvements and be proactive
- to be flexible and adaptable within a small team environment
- of working in a very busy working environment, with a hands-on approach
- part qualified/qualified or QBE in a similar role

Management Accountant/Finance Manager
