We are looking for an experienced Target Cost Estimator to join the senior management team of the Milton Keynes business unit (BU) a Term Services Contract (TSC). The role will predominately be based on the Milton Keynes TSC, however there may be a requirement to travel between the operational depots.

The role will be to assist in the delivery and governance of commercial services to the Milton Keynes Term Maintenance Contract in a manner that achieves both value for money for our client and sustainable shareholder value consistent with the contract, tender and agreed processes in the spirit of mutual trust and co-operation

Duties and Responsibilities:******:

Processing of Applications on Causeway.

Processing early warnings and variations

Processing of Subcontractor liabilities

Carry out duties in line with all Company Procedures and Policies

Ensure all work is carried out to correct specification / standard

Use Action Reporting Procedure to plan and implement continuous improvements

All work and operations to meet criteria of Environmental Policies

To work in-line with the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM) Model

Manage and promote the Groups IMS Processes "The Way We Work"

What we are looking for:******:

Quantity Surveying qualification or working towards, experience and time served rather than formal qualifications will be considered.

Understanding of cost management systems and ability to learn the Confirm Client Ordering system.

An understanding of Term Maintenance Contracts.

An understanding of the principles of measurement within the Highways Maintenance environment
