Denholm is excited to be Partnering with an innovative and well regarded firm of Accountants based in Glasgow.

The firm are looking to add an experienced Accountant to their team of accounting experts, where you will support a multi-sector client portfoliofor accounting, bookkeeping and tax work.

You will join a close knit team that has developed excellent continuity and continues to grow and learn. The firm offers an attractive and competitive salary and benefits scheme. The role also provide an excellentwork-life balance opportunity with both flexible and hybrid working available.

You will possess strong accounting background and be keen to offer support to others within the team, core responsibilities of the role are:

Prepare high standard and accurate accounts, financial statements to Partner level
Managing and supporting a wide ranging client portfolio
Preparation of corporate business tax and personal selfassessment returns
Preparation of Management Accounts
Prepare and review of bookkeeping, VAT returns and payrolls
Experience with key systems
Xero, QuickBooks and Iris

The role does require good and effective communication both internally with team and externally with clients.

The role suits an individual that embraces technology, in particular with good working knowledge of cloud-based software.
