Senior Regulatory Reporting Executive


What is the opportunity?
Oversight and supervision of a team of regulatory reporting professionals responsible for RBC BlueBay's, and it's clients and funds, daily regulatory reporting and periodic regulatory filings


What will you do?

  • Daily EMIR, ASIC and MiFIR Transaction Reporting
  • Performance of periodic controls and oversight to ensure complete and accurate reporting
  • Periodic coordination and filing of European and US regulatory filings
  • Liaison with Front Office, Compliance, Operations, Technology and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues identified in a systematic, scalable and robust manner
  • Perform review and critique of exception/rejection resolution
  • Oversee the daily and periodic report and control processes, producing metrics and trend analysis to demonstrate the success of the team
  • Take ownership for process improvements
  • Conduct reviews of new funds and accounts, ensuring these meet regulator reporting requirements

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • Solid experience leading an operations team (regulatory or otherwise) OR
  • Extensive experience within a Regulatory Reporting operational role at an asset manager or other financial services firm
  • Familiarity with UK and European regulations
  • Be a strong leader with experience in managing daytoday reporting functions
  • Solution focused individual with a desire to use their own initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to undertake a number of tasks and projects concurrently
Nice-to-have

  • Ability to coach and train junior members of the team
  • Sets high standards of performance for self and strives to meet challenging objectives. Acts with integrity and within both the spirit and the letter of RBC BlueBay's principles, policies and procedures.
  • Displays a positive and energetic attitude, gets involved and proactively seeks out opportunities to advance the business
  • Good proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with VBA a bonus
