    Are you an experienced, and empathetic leader to put their stamp on our new Home in Sefton?

    Here at the Amore group we are currently recruiting for a Registered Managers post to manage a 3 bedded children's home on behalf of out client supporting vulnerable children and young people, up to the ages of 18 who have experienced trauma and express challenging behaviours


    This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager with experience of working within a residential children's setting to oversee a registered three-bedded therapeutic home in the Liverpool area.

    *Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the residential team, fostering a positive and empowering work culture.
    • Oversee the daily management of the home, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
    • Being personally available, as well as the supervision and mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care focussed training, and accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practices within the home.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including social services, schools, and healthcare professionals.
    • Conduct regular assessments and create individual care plans for each child, tailored to their specific needs and goals.
    • Manage and support the professional development of the staff team, including training, supervision, and performance appraisals.
    • Implement and monitor the home's budget, ensuring financial resources are utilized effectively.
    • Maintain accurate records, produce reports, and participate in meetings as required.
    *Requirements:
    • Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
    • Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential children's home.
    • Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and requirements.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
    • Ability to build positive relationships with young people, staff, families, and external agencies.
    • Sound understanding of child development, safeguarding procedures, and trauma-informed care.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
    • Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota if required.
    • Arrange their own work rota which may involve evening, weekend and sleeping-in duties. The Manager is wholly responsible for ensuring an appropriate staff presence to meet the needs of the young people in the home.
    • Must have 12-18 Months experience

    Salary £50,150

    On call allowance Friday Saturday Sunday - £50 per day
