Corporate Policy and Strategy Team

£27,882 - £29,243 per annum (CCC-10)

37 hours per week
Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and experience across a range of important projects and make a lasting impact on our district?


In this role you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team, helping to develop the council's strategies and policies and engage with our communities to shape the future of Canterbury district.


You'll be part of a highly supportive team and will work together with departments across the Council and a range of partner organisations and community groups.


The work is fast paced meaning you'll never have a dull moment, and there are plenty of opportunities for training and development.


We're looking for someone who is motivated and can work to deadlines, capable of analysing data and reaching conclusions and has a basic understanding of community engagement and how policies are made.


You'll be an enthusiastic team player who can work flexibly across the team to support the delivery of the Council's corporate and political priorities.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent
  • A full driving licence
