    Position:
    Higher Level Teaching Assistant

    Contract Type:
    Full-time, temporary-to-permanent

    A well-regarded secondary school in Blackpool is seeking to hire a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team following the May half-term.

    The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an HLTA across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) and be enthusiastic about committing to a full-time position, which may lead to a temp-perm opportunity.

    As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher with various aspects of the daily classroom activities.

    Your responsibilities will include assisting in teaching pre-set work to full classes, small groups, and individuals.

    You will also be responsible for conducting 1:1 and small group intervention sessions to help targeted pupils and those requiring additional support.

    Experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) is preferable.
