Enable Futures is currently recruiting for a permanent Finance Assistant position on behalf of its client in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The client is a successful company seeking to hire a full-time Finance Assistant to support the Financial Controller with financial transactions.

This is a busy and varied role within a friendly team.

The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role or in various finance and accounting roles.

The working hours for this position are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

The annual salary is competitive and depends on experience, with a range of around £25,000.


Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Ledger- Including input of all supplier invoices onto Sage
• Liaising with the buying department and suppliers
• Sales Ledger
• Liaising with customers
• Bank Transactions and reconciliations

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

• Ideally a recent full working knowledge of SAGE (preferably Sage50).
• Previous experience in a similar role or a variety of accounting roles.
• A methodical approach to work with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Confident verbal and written communicator.
• The ability to solve problems and take ownership.
