Fresh Air Ltd is The Ultimate T-Shirt Printers & the Award winning market leader in retail and licensed textile printing. We specialise in Screen Printing. We have nine automatic presses capable of printing 40,000 garments per day and up to 12 colours per design. Fresh Air celebrates 50 years of printing T-Shirts. Everything from initial design to final packaging is done at our factory premises.

We are seeking a Trainee Sample Hand Carousel Screen Printer to join our team. As a Trainee you will fully support the Sample Hand Carousel Printers, learning how to produce high-quality prints on T-Shirts to send to customers for approval, using screen printing techniques. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for growth and development in the field.

Responsibilities:

Collecting Screens from Screen Department

Collect Inks from Ink Department for Sample Printers

Set up and take down screen printing equipment, manual carousel presses

Load and unload garments or other items onto the printing press

Ensure accurate registration of screens and maintain proper ink consistency when printing

Monitor print quality to ensure adherence to design specifications

Troubleshoot any issues with the printing process, such as ink smudging or misalignment

Clean and maintain equipment, including screens, squeegees

Collaborate with the Art Room

Collect blank T-Shirts ready for printing from stock/good In

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

Excellent communication skills with GCSE Level English, Reading and Writing
