    C# Software Engineering Lead - London (Hybrid) - Circa £100K + Bonus

    We have partnered up with a global FinTech firm in London who want to hire an Engineering Lead to join their team and help build scalable and sustainable engineering solutions and teams.

    As a Software Engineering Lead you'll be reporting into the CTO and you'll be supporting and coaching the engineering team to make high level architectural decisions and design choices whilst ensuring technical standards, tooling and implementation. You'll collaborate with Product Owners to create technology solutions that meet business requirements, inputting into planning and estimation sessions and taking ownership of Technical Architecture and roadmaps.

    The successful candidate will have experience managing engineering teams of 3+ engineers and will be responsible for driving technical innovation and the capability to manage a team while being hands-on.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leading the Engineering team
    • Take responsibility for the coaching, mentoring, and mastery within your squad to develop and maintain a high-performance engineering squad
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet business objectives.
    • Identify and manage technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Communicate technical concepts

    Requirements:

    • You have a strong technical background with C#, .Net Core, microservices - ideally with full stack experience e.g. JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Angular
    • You have strong software architecture and design skills
    • You're collaborative, pragmatic and can lead, inspire and motivate others
    • You have experience of managing small / medium sized Agile teams, with coaching and mentoring skills
    • You have experience within a FinTech / financial services environment, Payments and KYC knowledge would be great
