Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the primary role of a Level 1 Workshop Technician is the completion of pre-delivery Inspection (PDI) on new vehicles.

You may also be expected to complete original equipment (OE) and low-level accessory fitment.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Complete PDI as per the customer requirements
  • Complete and maintain all electronic records
  • Complete original equipment (OE) fitment as per the customer requirements
  • Fit lowlevel accessories to vehicles as per the customer requirements
  • Reporting of any technical issues accurately and timely
  • Complete regular training including manufacturer specific and generic
  • Must be willing to upskill to cover other technical operations across the site
  • Ensure the BCA values and beliefs are upheld
To be successful, you'll bring some of the following experience with you:

  • Level 2 industry qualification or willingness to work towards within probationary period
  • Able to effectively organise own work
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with internal and external
clients at all levels

  • Cooperative with other employees, onsite customers and visitors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Experience in developing and maintaining administrative systems
  • Experience of working with confidential material
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
