An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Catering Supervisor to join our dedicated team of staff within the Catering Department at Victoria Hospital and Whyteman's Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

The Senior Catering Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that there is a high quality of service provision throughout Central Fife.

On occasion you will lead the team to ensure that projects are moved forward including the reduction of food waste.

You will also ensure all sites are achieving full compliance with our Food Safety system and meeting the needs of the service users including the provision of nutritious, well presented meals to all patient groups and service users with the patient and service users at the forefront at all times.

Promoting and maintaining best practice within the catering service at all times is expected.

Previous catering supervisory experience, a current Food Hygiene certificate and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of a Food Safety system with a good understanding of current Allergen legislation and the requirements of this are essential for the post.

Work pattern will be 37.5 hours between 7.00am - 7.30pm working some weekends to maintain service levels and cover annual leave therefore a degree of flexibility is essential.

We offer enhanced rates of pay for hours worked at the weekend and a generous annual leave entitlement of 27 days rising to 33 days, excluding public holidays.
