    Role: H&S/ CDM Consultant

    Location: Central London (hybrid working environment)

    Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + excellent benefits package

    WRG are supporting a multi-disciplinary construction & engineering consultancy who are looking to appoint an ambitious H&S/ CDM professional to their team in Central London. Our client has ambitious growth plans for the year ahead, they have already invested heavily within their H&S/ Compliance team and now requires a competent H&S/ CDM professional to join them.

    The H&S/ CDM Consultant would cover a diverse portfolio of property & construction projects (commercial, residential, healthcare, education, retail, industrial) across London/ South East.

    The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary environment where they will be working alongside Building Control professionals, Project Managers and Civil Engineers to offer a H&S/ CDM service to a portfolio of clients, the business supports Architects, Residential developers and Tier One Contractors on these projects to ensure CDM and BSA compliance.

    The role would suit an ambitious CDM professional from a consultancy background who feels that their progress is currently stalled, our client has a history of excellent career progression and will offer support and training for you to achieve success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Offer a range of CDM/ PD services to clients.
    • Deliver various H&S services to ensure compliance on construction projects.
    • Oversee the design risk register and attend design risk reviews, along with offering input in relation to safety in design.
    • Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.
    • Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.
    • Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place.
    • Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones.
    • Liaise with various stakeholders (architects, contractors, developers, designers, client) and keep them informed of changes regarding safety.

    Requirements:

    • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
    • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).
    • Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body.
    • Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
    • Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry (desirable).
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
    • Full UK driving license.
